This project series is all about having fun and getting those creative juices flowing with cake decorating! Whether it's for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, or just a holiday treat, this skill is truly valuable. Cake decorating is a great way for everyone, no matter their age, to express themselves. Plus, learning this art is something both members and leaders will remember and enjoy for a long time. Sure, it takes some practice, but the awesome results are totally worth it!

Cake Decorating I
​This is an introductory 4-H project meant to help members develop the basic skills in cake decorating. Members will learn how to prepare and bake their own cakes, make icing to decorate with and the kinds and uses of various tools to decorate their cakes. This project is perfect for beginners and those who may require additional practice before tackling more advanced decorating techniques.

Cake Decorating II
Building on the foundation established in CD I, this project allows members to explore more creativity with cake designs and decorating techniques. Both members and leaders will explore various decorating styles and discover techniques that utilize royal icing, fondant, and sugar molds.

Cupcakes & Cookies
Are you ready to explore your creativity with decorating?
Cupcakes & cookies are often the go-to treat for parties and gatherings. In this project, you will have the chance to revisit the basics of cake decorating while embellishing cupcakes and/or cookies for various seasons and holidays.
