Crafts

The 4-H Crafts project allows members to explore traditional craft ideas that have been passed down through generations while also incorporating contemporary design that reflects today’s trends. In 4-H, members are encouraged to explore various craft concepts (a resource list is available for different categories and ideas) and work with your Crafts Project Leader to choose craft options that align with your age, current skill level, and the time you can dedicate to the required work.

Important Note: Crafted items that can be completed independently from the Crafts project will have a dedicated Project Information Page (PIP) and are indicated below with **.

The completion requirements will be listed on these PIPs.

Project Ideas

  • The Craft Projects below are to serve as inspiration. Members are encouraged to select from this list or to explore their own crafting ideas. To meet the project requirements, you must create at least three items and members are encouraged to explore crafts across various categories, enabling them to learn and integrate different skills and techniques.

  • Currently, Scrapbooking is the only craft project with independent requirements and PIP.
