CRAFTS refers to any item made using a specific skill or artistic technique, with various tools, materials, and hands-on effort to create functional and/or decorative pieces. Crafting usually refers to a hobby or activity aimed at creating artistic, decorative, or practical items by hand, inspired by skill and creativity.

TEXTILES Working with textiles is all about turning fibers from plants, animals, or even man-made materials into fun and useful things! 4-H Projects including weaving, knitting, sewing, embroidery, etc. encourage members to use materials to create handmade items like clothes, functional items and home decor. It's the art of turning simple threads into beautiful creations!

CREATIVE ARTS The creative arts are all about using imagination and skills to share ideas and feelings. They are important because they help us understand different cultures and really, the sky is the limit with your imagination! Here are some fun types of creative arts to explore in 4-H...

Visual Arts: This includes activities like painting, drawing, making sculptures, etc.
Performing Arts: acting, song and dance, play/create music, etc.
Writing and Digital Creations: stories, poems, and cool videos or games made on computers.
