Quilting

Quilting is the process of sewing multiple (typically 3) layers of fabric together where stitches are passed through all layers by hand or using a sewing machine to hold them securely in place. The purpose is to create items used for bed covers, lap throws, table runners, artistic wall hangings, and padded clothing.
